Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of therapy do you offer?

I offer individual counselling for adults and older teens. My approach blends talk therapy, art therapy, somatic practices, and parts work (IFS-informed). Each session is tailored to your needs—you don’t have to be “good at art” to benefit from art therapy.

What issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in grief and loss, post-trauma, relationship challenges, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion. I also provide support for therapists and helpers who may be experiencing burnout.

How long are sessions, and how often should I come?

Sessions are 50 minutes, with the option for longer sessions if needed. Many clients begin weekly, then move to bi-weekly or monthly as they feel more grounded. We’ll decide together what’s best for you.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. I provide virtual sessions across Alberta, as well as in-person sessions in Okotoks, Alberta.

What are your fees?

My standard rate is 150/session, and I also offer a sliding scale down to 60/session to make therapy more accessible. Many clients receive coverage through extended health benefits or EAP—check with your provider to see if they cover counselling with a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) or Counselling Therapist (CT).

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything shared in session is private and confidential, with the exception of rare situations required by law (such as risk of harm to self or others).

How do I book a session?

You can book directly through my client portal here, or contact me to schedule a free 15-minute consult to see if we’re a good fit.

What if I’ve never tried therapy before?

That’s completely okay. Many people start therapy feeling nervous or unsure. My role is to meet you where you’re at, help you feel safe, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
